Lina Point Resort
Flagship overwater resort on Ambergris Caye, Belize. Booking, tours, dining, and local experiences.
Lina Point is the flagship overwater resort on Ambergris Caye, in San Pedro, Belize. The resort homepage calls it the only overwater resort on Ambergris Caye. Guests drive a golf cart across the bridge. Stays are booked on linapoint.com. The public tagline is “Where the Magic Begins.”
Cabanas sit on the Caribbean with glass floors and open decks. Sea-view suites are in the main building. Villa 41 is beachfront rather than over the water. The rooms catalog names a 2nd floor hotel suite, a 1st floor hotel suite, a 1-bed overwater cabana duplex, a 1-bedroom overwater cabana, a 2-bedroom overwater cabana, and Villa 41. The property has 18 rooms, and every bedroom has a king bed. Nightly rates change daily, so the booking page is the price. The published minimum stay is 2 nights.
Every room includes daily breakfast, complimentary kayaks, snorkel equipment, Wi-Fi, and the overwater infinity pool. Overwater cabanas add glass-bottom floors and private sun decks. The lodging details on linapoint.com also list massage and wellness services and room service. The homepage describes the pool deck as sun-warmed timber above the Caribbean.
The resort’s questions page says Lina Point sits steps from the world’s second-largest barrier reef. Snorkeling and diving are reachable from the property, and Hol Chan Marine Reserve is minutes away by boat. The homepage names snorkeling and diving at Hol Chan, Shark Ray Alley, and the Blue Hole, plus fishing, a sunset sail, and Mayan ruins, booked with Maya Concierge.
From Belize City International, the site describes a domestic flight of about 15 minutes to San Pedro Airport, or a scheduled water taxi to the San Pedro terminal. The transfer from that terminal or the San Pedro airstrip to Lina Point is complimentary when arrival details are shared in advance.
The Mayan restaurant is on the property. It is not open to the public during the slow-season closure. It reopens November 12, 2026 for breakfast and lunch, Tuesday–Saturday, 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Mayan Experience dinner is Friday and Saturday, 5:00–10:00 PM, last seating 9:00 PM, from November 13, 2026. Sundays from November 15 are Cook Your Catch Sunset Experience at the Pool Bar, 30 tickets, $99 USD per person. The restaurant is closed Mondays. During the closure, and on Mondays, in-house Lina Point guests receive continental breakfast. A dinner menu and dinner prices are not published. Book on linapoint.com for the rate offered that day. Direct guests can earn loyalty points, request early check-in, and reach the concierge without a third party.
Leaves pointenterprise.com for linapoint.com.
